Animal Keeper

As part of our development and to complete our team within a wildlife park located in the canton of Vaud, we are actively seeking our next:

Responsibilities :

. Ensure the safety, hygiene, socialisation and physical and emotional well-being of the animals

. Maintenance of living spaces and preparation of food

. Monitor health status and detect symptoms of illness or abnormal behaviour

. Maintain and ensure the technical upkeep of living units (bedding, structure, etc.)

. Implement appropriate enrichments and suggest useful improvements

. Apply medical treatment protocols

Profile :

. Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as an animal keeper (essential), specialising in wild animals

. Knowledge of equines and routine care

. Rigour, autonomy and an excellent sense of responsibility

. Dynamism and proactivity

. Team spirit and good communication

. Ability to adapt to circumstances
