Qualifications and Attributes

• Completed training as an automation technician, mechatronics technician, or electrical installer, preferably with experience in an industrial environment
• Solid expertise in electrical engineering as well as good knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics is an advantage
• Fluent German skills, good English skills, and confident use of MS Office 
• Strong analytical thinking as well as a structured, methodical approach to faults, maintenance work, and smaller projects
• Willingness to travel occasionally, be on call, and possession of a valid driving licence

About the Job

In this role, you ensure that our production facilities operate reliably, safely, and efficiently. On the one hand, your focus is on preventive maintenance. You carry out inspections, maintenance, and improvements, prepare maintenance work, and carefully document it in maintenance plans and plant documents. You ensure that our standards are consistently implemented. On the other hand, you take on reactive maintenance during unplanned downtimes. You systematically analyse faults, resolve them sustainably, and ensure proper and safety-compliant repairs.

Furthermore, you work on the continuous improvement of equipment and processes, coordinate external service providers, and contribute your technical know-how to projects such as plant optimisations, new acquisitions, or site expansion. Compliance with safety, environmental, and quality guidelines is a matter of course for you. In addition, you support other departments, think cross-functionally, and are prepared to take on on-call duties if required.
