Around 700 employees from engineering, product management, manufacturing, logistics, sales and services work closely together here: engineers continuously develop new solutions, while the production and logistics teams ensure that the sensors arrive at the customers in Baumer quality and on time.

IT security is not a side project. Nor is it merely reacting to incidents. What I drive

• Design and further development of IT security solutions for a global infrastructure including firewall, EDR/NDR, pentesting
• Co-design of the security architecture as well as contributing know-how in network and infrastructure topics
• Ensuring stable and secure operation of central security components
• Close collaboration with international IT teams as well as support in third-level support

What it takes

• You have a completed degree in computer science (Uni/ETH, FH, HF) with a focus on IT security or a comparable qualification in the IT security environment
• Several years of practical experience in security engineering, ideally in international IT environments
• Very good knowledge of network technologies as well as handling common security solutions such as WAF, NGFW and NDR
• Strong analytical thinking and enjoyment of complex troubleshooting
• Confident communication in German and English, both spoken and written
• Willingness to travel and regular on-call duty as well as an independent, responsible working style
