Purchaser (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
- Active participation in operational procurement (recording orders, requesting quotations, handling complaints, invoice control and resolving invoice discrepancies)
- Contact person for requisitioners and suppliers regarding questions about order status, delivery dates, current agreements with suppliers
- Proactive search and evaluation of new suppliers and alternative procurement sources.
- Actively support the department in technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers
- Support departments in conducting public tenders (submissions) and other procurement projects
- Preparation of procurement-specific evaluations and key figures in SAP MM.
- Preparation of meaningful price and quotation comparisons.
- Assistance in planning and conducting the annual supplier evaluations.
- Improvement and promotion of cooperation with key suppliers and optimisation of the supplier structure
- Monitoring, compliance and implementation of relevant laws, guidelines and the code of conduct
Qualifications:
Completed basic training in a technical or commercial field
Several years of practical experience
Procurement-specific further training (e.g. as a certified purchasing specialist)
Good knowledge of public procurement
In-depth experience in the procurement of technical products and components as well as complex services.
Good SAP user skills
Good and broad technical understanding
High degree of initiative
Competent, assertive and communicative personality
Very good oral and written German skills
