Your tasks

• Management of the accounting for branches and subsidiaries. This includes, among other things, the analysis of local financial statements, their reconciliation and posting in the IFRS financial statements, cash management, creditor payments, as well as monitoring local tax and social security contributions
• Contact person for international VAT issues, especially for tax declarations in several European countries
• Collaboration and deputising or taking over various finance and accounting topics (for example hedging and withholding taxes)
• Active participation in monthly, quarterly and annual closing tasks
• Support and advice to international teams on various accounting processes

Your profile

• Commercial basic training with further education at the specialist certificate level or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and knowledge of international VAT
• Good SAP skills as well as confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
• Very good German, French and English skills; French is regularly used in cross-location collaboration and in contact with business partners
• Ability to work with various contacts in an international environment
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland of about 20%
