We are currently mandated by a high-end hotel establishment to recruit a charismatic and committed individual who will hold the position of:
General Housekeeper (M/F)
Job Description
Leading your team and in direct contact with the management of the establishment, your main responsibilities will involve directing and coordinating the activities and resources of the hotel's Housekeeping department. A hands-on person, responsible for the efficiency of the cleaning and upkeep of rooms, floors, exteriors as well as public areas, the spa and conference rooms, you will develop existing practices and ensure compliance with current standards. A good manager mindful of your costs, you are comfortable with numbers and able to manage the budgets allocated by your hierarchy in your daily decisions. With strong communication skills, you will maintain close relationships with clients and lead your teams by example towards ambitious goals.
Profile Sought
Graduated from a hotel school or with solid training, you have at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or a high-end resort. Used to managing teams, you are regarded as a role model by your teams and know how to optimise their productivity while fostering a healthy and pleasant working atmosphere. You have an eye for detail and a taste for tasks carried out with care, rigour and professionalism. Organised and autonomous in your role, you can handle several challenges simultaneously and are capable of delegating while assuming your responsibilities as head of a department. Oriented towards excellence, you are highly committed to your role and possess a well-developed "hands-on" vision. Comfortable with IT tools, you are fluent in French and English.
