Lead Solution Architect

Your Responsibilities

• Assuming the role of Lead Architect for a newly developed software solution
• Defining and further developing the solution architecture considering professional, technical, and customer-related requirements
• Technical responsibility for the advancement of the development organisation and collaboration with other architects
• Developing architectural guidelines, technical standards, and quality policies for agile development processes
• Supporting product management in the development and further advancement of the domain architecture
• Coordinating and accompanying technical improvements and ensuring their implementation
• Supporting development teams with complex technical issues and solution implementation
• Creating high-level concepts for the technical implementation of business requirements in the overall system
• Assisting in the creation of technical concepts and proposals
• Close collaboration with business analysis, software development, product management, and customers
• Questioning existing structures and continuously advancing IT and software architecture
• Shaping the technical direction of a new product in an early development phase

Our Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Senior Software Architect or Solution Architect, ideally with professional leadership responsibility
• Solid experience in designing and further developing complex software solutions
• Very good knowledge of Java, Kafka, and REST
• Experience with Angular or a comparable modern frontend framework
• Ideally experience with DevOps and modern agile development processes
• Ability to clearly communicate technical contexts and bring together different stakeholders
• High initiative, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for professional and technical development
• Team-oriented personality with a strong desire to shape and influence
• University or university of applied sciences degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
• Very good German skills at least at C1 level as well as good English skills
