Development and further development of modern, scalable web applications across the entire technology stack.
Design and implementation of robust backend services and APIs with Java and Kotlin, considering maintainability, performance and clean software architecture.
Development of intuitive and high-performance frontend applications with Angular and TypeScript.
Active participation in architectural decisions as well as in the technical conception of new functions and applications.
Ensuring high software quality through automated tests, code reviews, clean code principles and continuous refactoring.
Integration of databases, external systems and interfaces into existing and new software solutions.
Participation in automated build, testing and deployment processes within the framework of modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Close collaboration with product management, UX/UI and other engineering teams in an agile development environment.
Assuming technical responsibility for demanding features and, at senior level, supporting less experienced developers through mentoring and professional exchange.
Qualifications:
Completed studies in computer science, software engineering or a comparable technical education.
Several years of practical experience in professional software development, with correspondingly deep project experience for a senior position.
Very good knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin as well as experience in developing modern backend applications and REST-based interfaces.
Solid experience with Angular and TypeScript as well as a good understanding of modern frontend architectures.
Confident handling of relational databases, data modelling and common persistence technologies.
Experience with automated tests, version control, CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.
Understanding of scalable software architectures, design patterns, clean code and sustainable technical decisions.
Knowledge of container technologies, cloud platforms or microservice architectures is an advantage.
Independent and solution-oriented working style as well as enjoyment of collaboration in interdisciplinary and agile teams.
Good German and English skills for technical collaboration and documentation.
