STRUCTURAL DRAFTSMAN (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional as a certified draftsman in architecture for an internationally active architecture and design office with demanding projects in structural engineering, interior construction, and commercial building. You will support the realisation of national and international construction projects and take on diverse tasks in execution planning, detailed construction, and digital 3D building modelling. The focus is on professional CAD planning with ArchiCAD, the application of BIM methods, and technical coordination with project managers, specialist planners, and clients. The position offers varied architectural projects with high design and technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Architecture and structural planning: Creating and editing project, execution, working, and detail plans for national and international construction projects

• CAD planning with ArchiCAD: Independently developing and editing precise architectural drawings as well as digital 3D building models

• BIM modelling: Creating, updating, and coordinating digital building models considering model-based planning processes

• Building surveys and as-built planning: Conducting and documenting building surveys as well as creating as-built plans, measurements, and technical sketches

• Execution and detail planning: Developing constructive solutions, component connections, and technically feasible execution details

• Specialist planner coordination: Coordinating architectural planning with structural engineers, building services planners, and other involved disciplines

• Project support: Assisting project management with technical project processing, plan organisation, and administrative project documentation

• Authority and client coordination: Preparing and compiling planning documents for clients, authorities, and external project participants

• Plan management and quality assurance: Checking and updating plan statuses, plan revisions, and digital project documents

• Interior construction and detailed construction: Working on demanding interior and design solutions considering materiality and construction feasibility

• Technical project coordination: Participating in planning meetings and coordinating technical interfaces between architecture, specialist planning, and execution

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a certified draftsman specialising in architecture or an equivalent recognised qualification

• Professional experience in architecture, execution, and detail planning of structural engineering projects

• Very good user knowledge of ArchiCAD, especially in digital 2D and 3D plan processing

• Sound knowledge of BIM planning processes and model-based building coordination

• Knowledge of building construction, working drawings, and relevant Swiss building standards (SIA)

• Experience with building surveys, as-built planning, and technical project documentation is an advantage

• Very good German language skills for technical project processing and planning coordination
