Our client implements and supports IT solutions for various customers, relying on modern Microsoft, network and security platforms. You bring your technical skills to diverse infrastructure projects and accompany them from planning to successful implementation. In addition to project work, you ensure the reliable operation of the systems and support customers with demanding technical questions. The position offers you scope for design, varied tasks and the opportunity to develop professionally in the direction of network and security.
Responsibilities:
Engineering and further development of IT infrastructures based on Microsoft, Aruba and Fortinet technologies
Independent execution of infrastructure projects including conception, implementation and acceptance
Ensuring stable operation of server, client and network environments
Carrying out maintenance work as well as technical customer support in 2nd and 3rd level support
Optimisation of virtualisation, backup and network services
Sharing technical knowledge within the team and continuous development of the solutions used
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ system technology or equivalent qualification
Initial practical experience in supporting IT infrastructures
Good knowledge of Windows Server and Client, Active Directory and Exchange
Knowledge of virtualisation with VMware or Hyper-V and backup solutions such as Veeam
Solid network fundamentals in routing, switching and WLAN; security affinity is an advantage
Experience in 2nd and 3rd level support
Independent and team-oriented working style, strong communication skills and enjoyment of customer contact
