The Digital & Technology department is responsible for the governance and management of the information systems of the Bienne Hospital Centre and its subsidiaries, in line with the institution's strategy.
To complete our team, we are looking immediately or by agreement for a
ICT System Specialist (VDI) & Microsoft Cloud 100%
Your tasks – our position
Operation & continuous improvement (Run)
- Level 2 support: handling tickets, diagnosing and resolving common incidents on VDI Omnissa Horizon virtualisation infrastructures, Workspace ONE, Windows and Linux
- Daily monitoring of infrastructures under your responsibility, following up and handling infrastructure alerts, checking reports, dealing with common failures, escalating complex cases
- Management and routine operation of the VDI Omnissa Horizon environment: maintenance tasks, patch application, performance monitoring
- Administration of VMware vSphere and Workspace ONE platforms, ensuring their proper functioning
- Administration of the Microsoft 365 environment, with particular expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and SharePoint Online
- Management and administration of the Imprivata strong authentication solution
- Coordination with the network team for integrating network requirements into the server and virtualisation infrastructures under your responsibility
- Application and monitoring of cybersecurity policies, in collaboration with the Cybersecurity department
- Technical maintenance, securing and continuous development of the IT infrastructure under your responsibility
- Participation as a contributor in projects related to infrastructure modernisation, automation and optimisation of these services
- Participation in on-call duties according to schedule
Documentation & quality
- Writing and maintaining detailed infrastructure documentation, in French or German
- Technical documentation in English
- Adherence to defined escalation procedures in case of unresolved level 2 incidents
- Application of security directives and rules issued by the Cybersecurity department and reporting any non-compliance observed
Your skills – our expectations
- IT training (CFC, apprenticeship or equivalent training)
- Proven experience in level 2 IT support / systems and infrastructure administration, ideally in a hospital environment
- Confirmed knowledge in VDI Omnissa Horizon virtualisation and VMware vSphere administration
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux server installation and administration
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 environment, particularly Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and SharePoint Online
- Experience in Workspace ONE administration
- Knowledge of the Imprivata strong authentication solution is an asset
- Knowledge of Fortinet security solutions (FortiGate, FortiAuthenticator, FortiMail) is an asset
- Sensitivity to cybersecurity issues and associated best practices
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting
- Participation in maintaining the monitoring system (WhatsUp Gold) up to date
- Good team spirit and communication skills
- Ability to work independently on defined tasks, in close collaboration with Digital & Technology colleagues
- Rigor, reliability and a service-oriented attitude
- Native language: German or French, with good knowledge of the other language
- Intermediate knowledge of technical English
