As a low voltage operator within the Operations unit, you ensure the uninterrupted electrical supply to customers by supervising the LV network and managing anomalies and faults detected on the Geneva electrical network. The Operations unit of the Electricity Distribution Activity is tasked with guaranteeing the management, operation and troubleshooting of the HV/MV/LV network as well as the quality of the network and the design of innovative solutions intended for the supervision and control of the network and its facilities.

Within the scope of your role, you will be specifically responsible for:
- Ensuring the technical interface with the Construction teams as well as the client interface in managing planned interruptions;
- Developing, executing or having network manoeuvres executed during restorations and within the framework of planned interruptions for works;
- Updating the schematic of the LV distribution network and the databases related to the digitisation of network objects;
- Ensuring the safety of interventions on the MV/LV electrical network;
- Contributing to the technical efficiency of LV network operation (selectivity plan, integration of smart grid solutions, etc.).
Your personality and skills
You have a strong sense of responsibility, a great ability to work in sometimes stressful contexts, as well as rigour, flexibility and a solid team spirit. Your customer service sense allows you to respond to requests and complaints while minimising the impact of LV network disruptions. Technically, you are comfortable with IT tools (office software, SAP, SIRS) and possess in-depth knowledge of the electrical network and its equipment.
This position requires an on-call service with a response time of half an hour.
You will be assigned to this on-call duty as soon as you have the necessary knowledge.
Academic background:
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as an electrician installer and/or network electrician, complemented by a federal certificate or are ready to undertake one of these trainings;
- A Higher Technical Diploma (Technician ES) is also desired;
- As well as a minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical or industrial networks.
