Accountant with Payroll Function (m/f/d)
Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, a security service provider successfully operating for over 30 years with more than 500 employees, we are looking for a committed individual for the accounting and payroll department at the head office in St. Gallen, starting by arrangement. You will take on a varied range of tasks between financial accounting, payroll, and administrative duties and contribute to the smooth processing of financial processes.
Responsibilities:
You prepare annual financial statements and quarterly accounts as well as the quarterly VAT returns
You assist with invoicing
You manage payroll accounting and asset accounting
You handle budgets and support their preparation
You participate in meetings and discussions and assist with audits from various control bodies
You undertake general administrative tasks
You monitor compliance with the collective labour agreement regulations in the area of security services
Qualifications:
You have completed commercial training with further education as a specialist in finance and accounting with a federal diploma or comparable further education
You bring knowledge in accounting, administration, and human resources as well as at least three to four years of professional experience in accounting
You possess very good knowledge of the ERP software Abacus (payroll accounting, accounts payable/receivable, personnel and order management) as well as solid knowledge of Office 365
You communicate excellently in German, both spoken and written; knowledge of Italian and French is an advantage
You convince with an entrepreneurial mindset, a flair for numbers, and a precise, reliable, and efficient working style
