GRC Officer (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you design an effective governance, risk, and compliance framework and ensure that all relevant regulations and internal policies are adhered to. You are responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks and ensure that clear processes and standards for an effective internal control system are established and further developed. You coordinate GRC activities across departments, prepare decision-making bases for management, and report in a structured manner on the status of risks and compliance issues. You analyse existing processes, derive optimisation potentials, and initiate corresponding measures to strengthen transparency, security, and reliability. Through your expertise, you contribute to promoting a sustainable, compliant, and risk-aware organisational culture.
Responsibilities:
You maintain and further develop the ISMS according to ISO 27001 with clear policies, procedures, and documentation
In this role, you identify, assess, and monitor cyber risks and manage their treatment
As the person responsible for governance, risk & compliance, you ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
You develop and update policies, standards, and business continuity management (BCM)
In this role, you are responsible for third-party management (TPRM) and manage associated risk and compliance aspects
You conduct audits and certification processes, prepare management reports, and plan tabletop exercises for disaster recovery, BCM, and incident response
Qualifications:
You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or a degree in computer science HF/FH.
You have completed one or more further trainings in the field of cyber security.
You are confident in dealing with cyber risks and common compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST).
You convince with strong analytical skills, good abstraction ability, and high problem-solving competence.
You enjoy working in a team and appreciate collaboration with different contacts.
You act independently, communicate clearly, and have great enthusiasm for cyber security topics.
You speak fluent German.
