Executive Board Member - Production Manager 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Operational overall responsibility for the areas of production, production planning, quality management and logistics

• Leadership, promotion and further development of directly subordinate team leaders and foremen in professional and personal terms

• Ensuring the highest quality standards, optimal production processes and punctual deliveries

• Active shaping of the production strategy as well as strategic capacity planning with foresight

• Initiation and implementation of automation and digitalisation projects including the development of unmanned production solutions

• Establishment and sustainable anchoring of a lean management and continuous improvement culture in all production areas

• Responsibility for the production budget as well as strategic planning and control of investments

• Evaluation, assessment and successful integration of new manufacturing technologies and pioneering production methods

• Active participation in the development and practical implementation of the company’s strategic objectives

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed vocational training as a polymechanic, production mechanic or machine mechanic with further training as a technician HF, FH engineer or comparable qualification

• Several years of solid leadership experience in a manufacturing industrial company with proven success in team leadership

• Sound expertise in machining, especially in the areas of turning, milling, grinding and/or gearing

• Proven success in the conception and implementation of automation, digitalisation and lean management projects

• Strong entrepreneurial thinking combined with high implementation competence and a practical hands-on mentality

• Authentic, appreciative leadership personality with a down-to-earth manner and high social competence

• Passion for the development and promotion of employees as well as pronounced presence and closeness to production

• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills advantageous
