For the support of a complex IT infrastructure, an independent specialist with sound knowledge in system engineering is sought. You are responsible for the reliable operation of servers and services and bring your experience with Microsoft systems, Linux, and cloud technologies into the further development of the IT landscape.
In addition to operational management, you participate in diverse IT projects and support the migration of selected applications to the cloud. You also collaborate with specialists from data science and IT security to continuously improve processes and services.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the operation and maintenance of server and system infrastructure
Support of Microsoft-based systems as well as selected Linux environments
Participation in IT projects around data lakes, customer portals, and data management
Further development of data governance fundamentals and related processes
Planning and implementation of cloud migrations in compliance with IT security requirements
Optimisation of applications, services, and infrastructure in collaboration with internal teams
Qualifications:
IT specialist with federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ) with further training at higher technical college (HF) or university of applied sciences (FH) level
Practical knowledge in IT operations with on-premise, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures
Experience with Microsoft technologies, IT security, and ideally Linux
Experience in IT projects and operation of complex infrastructures
Interest in data science, data engineering, Active Directory, and access management
Initiative, teamwork, and willingness for on-call duty; good knowledge of German or French, another official language, and English
