Oracle EBS Developer

Context & Mission

To support one of our major public sector clients in strengthening their teams, we are looking for a Senior Oracle eBusiness Suite (OeBS) Consultant / Developer.

Integrated directly within our client’s organisation, your main mission will be to design and develop robust application solutions based on functional specifications, while maximising the use of the standard features of the software package. Your technical expertise will be essential to ensure smooth, efficient integrations that comply with the client’s quality requirements.

Your activities at the client site

• Analysis & Architecture: Conduct technical analysis of functional needs, identify target solutions, assess risks and justify your architectural choices.

• Development & Quality: Ensure development within deadlines, guarantee code quality and manage unit and load testing plans.

• Support & Operational Maintenance: Handle incidents of the SIC Finances system until the deployment of fixes, while maintaining close follow-up with project teams and end users.

• Compliance with client standards: Apply the methodology, security rules and standards in force at the client (OCSIN framework) while contributing to continuous improvement of practices.

• Reporting & Documentation: Keep technical documentation up to date and provide rigorous reporting to the project manager and service manager.

Profile sought

• Degree: HES diploma, computer science degree, EPF engineering diploma or federal diploma.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years confirmed experience in development on Oracle eBusiness Suite (ideally v12).

Essential technical skills

• SQL & PL/SQL: Expert level.

• OeBS data model: Very good mastery of Finance modules.

Additional technical skills

• Extension & integration tools: Oracle Workflow Builder (procurement flows), Oracle Application Framework (OAF - page creation, extensions, controllers, View Objects).

• Reporting & Interfaces: BI Publisher, Oracle Forms and Reports.

• Functional/technical knowledge of OeBS: Modules GL, AP, AR, PO, PA, FA.

• Development practices: Mastery of development cycles, source code management (Git, SVN) and knowledge of Oracle APEX.

Major assets

• Previous experience in service delivery on OeBS projects in the public sector.

• Familiarity with Agile working environment at the client.
