ES Automation Technician - Industrial Programming & Electrical Controls
Job Description
You will participate in the development, commissioning and technical support of industrial automation solutions, both in Switzerland and internationally.
Your main responsibilities will notably include:
- Developing and programming industrial automation systems on Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC;
- Participating in the development and integration of electrical controls;
- Carrying out commissioning of installations, internally and at clients’ sites;
- Performing technical service interventions and ensuring troubleshooting of installations;
- Training clients in the use and operation of equipment;
- Working closely with development, production and service teams;
- Being required to undertake international business travel depending on projects.
Profile Sought
- Training as an ES Automation Technician, ES Technician in Automation or equivalent qualification;
- Solid experience in industrial programming and automation, minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Very good knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC;
- Good knowledge in the field of electrical controls;
- Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting industrial installations;
- Good level of English (minimum B2);
- Knowledge of German is an asset;
- Driving licence essential;
- Availability and interest in international travel;
- Autonomy, analytical mind and service orientation;
- Ease in client contact and enthusiasm for knowledge transfer.
