In doing so, you make an important contribution to the daily work of the Cantonal Police.

IT expertise meets strong collaboration: Together with your team, you are responsible for first-level support, life cycle management and optimisation of specialised applications. You manage customer orders and projects holistically and coordinate the collaboration between the Cantonal Police and the IT department of the department as a central operational interface.
Responsibility with real impact: Your work makes a difference: you ensure that digital tools and communication means function reliably even in demanding situations. For this, you bring foresight and a sense of responsibility and are prepared to work evening and weekend shifts during special events and unique major occasions, such as the ESC.
Advancing projects and ensuring quality: You represent the needs of users in projects and accompany new solutions from planning to implementation. At the same time, you ensure complete and up-to-date documentation of the applications you manage, thus creating the basis for stable and sustainable operation.
Profile
Experience: You bring several years of experience in application or IT service management and have leadership skills as well as enjoyment in developing employees. You are familiar with heterogeneous application landscapes and complex interfaces. In addition, you are knowledgeable in change, release and service management and convince through a structured, solution-oriented way of working.
Personality: You are an initiative-taking, communicative personality with pronounced analytical thinking skills. You work precisely, efficiently and solution-oriented, gladly take on responsibility and actively drive topics forward. Your willingness for continuous further education as well as your flexibility for occasional assignments outside regular working hours complete your profile.
Education: You have a bachelor’s degree in business informatics (FH) or an equivalent qualification in the IT field. Additional business management training within the framework of a CAS is an advantage and supports you in optimally combining technical and entrepreneurial requirements.
