Apprentice Automotive Specialist EFZ, Commercial Vehicles Specialisation

1 apprenticeship position from August 2027 As an apprentice automotive specialist, you will assist in carrying out repair and maintenance work on various (special) vehicles within Flughafen Zürich AG. You will perform system checks, diagnostic work, and exhaust inspections on small vehicles (ride-on lawnmowers, etc.) or commercial vehicles (passenger cars, tractors, buses, fire engines, etc.). Your job destination

• You take responsibility for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles, from special vehicles to everyday vehicles used on the airport premises
• With your technical know-how, you carry out precise system checks and comprehensive diagnostic work to ensure that every vehicle operates reliably and safely
• You inspect and maintain the exhaust systems of small vehicles, such as ride-on lawnmowers, as well as larger commercial vehicles, such as passenger cars, tractors, buses, and fire engines

Your skills in your luggage

• You have successfully completed the compulsory schooling at secondary level (or higher)
• You have an aptitude test from the AGVS: registration is done by the applicant
• You are enthusiastic about electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
• Your working style is characterised by independence, reliability, and a sense of responsibility
• You are flexible, resilient, and have a strong willingness to learn and perform
• A quick grasp and a love of logical thinking are among your strengths
• Your manual skills, good technical understanding, and practical aptitude distinguish you
• You enjoy expressing yourself fluently and confidently in German, both spoken and written
