Shape the future of modern infrastructure platforms by confidently navigating as a Senior System Engineer Hybrid Cloud between classic datacentre, virtualisation, and hybrid operating models. In this role, you contribute decisively to aligning IT landscapes to be stable, secure, and future-proof. You apply your expertise specifically in operations and actively participate in projects. Additionally, you contribute to the continuous development of modern platforms and thus significantly influence their strategic direction.
Responsibilities:
You operate and optimise hybrid IT infrastructures with HPE, VMware and Veeam
You support the operations team in patch, update and lifecycle management
You plan and implement on-premises and datacentre solutions and accompany migrations
You independently carry out infrastructure projects or support project management
In 3rd level support, you analyse faults and develop sustainable solutions
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally with HF/FH further education
Several years of experience with datacentre, virtualisation or hybrid cloud environments
Sound knowledge of HPE, VMware and Veeam
Experience with migrations, patch management and Azure update management is an advantage
Structured and independent working style, team spirit as well as very good German skills and good English skills, both spoken and written
