The urban planning department leads and coordinates municipal territorial planning, of which the Municipal Zoning Plan (PACom) is the priority strategic file.

To strengthen the territorial planning section, particularly on this file, the Municipality of Montreux is advertising a position for a:

Main tasks:

• Support the section manager in monitoring the PACom mandate
• Ensure coordination with municipal services, contractors, cantonal services and regional partners
• Collect, verify and compile useful data (statistics, geodata, inventories)
• Produce technical, cartographic and editorial documents
• Contribute to related PACom studies

Desired profile:

• Master's degree in urban planning, geography, architecture, landscape architecture or equivalent training
• One to two years of professional experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of standards and legislation in territorial planning
• Proficiency in GIS and CAD software required
• Proficiency in MS Office tools required
• Excellent writing and synthesis skills
• Rigour in data processing, autonomy and team spirit
• Sense of public service
• Experience in public administration and in the development of a municipal zoning plan, an asset
• Knowledge of Vaud legislation and the municipal territory, an asset

Special conditions:

• Contract of maximum duration of 15 months
