Warehouse Operational Services Employee (m/f/d)

For our renowned business partner, F. Hoffmann-La Roche in Basel, we are looking as a first-tier supplier, with immediate effect, for a motivated and committed Warehouse Operational Services Employee for a fixed-term assignment of 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the correct operational handling of processes (export / destruction / portioning) in compliance with the compliance requirements (GMP, hazardous materials, etc.)
• Independent execution of destruction orders
• Independent execution of shipping and picking orders (export)
• Independent execution of portioning of raw materials and products
• Independent execution of bookings in various SAP systems and in the BLS
• Preparation and checking of documents for the cleaning of cabins, the portioning process and the shipping and picking orders (export) according to GMP
• Assistance with maintenance work, identification and rectification of faults
• Proactive involvement in process optimisations, quality improvements and the revision of specification documents
• Cross-group support within Logistic Solutions if required
• Professional support during audits and inspections
• Maintain contact with operations, purchasers, disposal companies and workshops
• Compliance with safety regulations and GMP instructions
• Ensuring efficient and customer-oriented service delivery

Must Haves

• Completed vocational training as a logistics specialist EFZ or equivalent
• Completed forklift truck driving test
• Very good PC skills (SAP, Office and other application programmes)
• 3 years of professional experience in logistics, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, are required
• Good business understanding, service-oriented and highly flexible
• High degree of structured and independent working style
• High level of customer orientation, professional and proactive interaction with all stakeholders
• Structured, focused and organised working style, assertiveness and motivated, independent and resilient

Nice to Haves

• Training in hazardous materials
• English skills, spoken and written
• Experience in GMP / GDP area
