You are responsible for the operation and further development of a modern hybrid IT infrastructure (On-Prem and Azure).
In this role, you lead IT projects and evaluate new technologies.
You operate and optimise virtualisation platforms such as Proxmox and VMware.
You contribute to security measures, including EDR, user awareness, hardening, and incident handling.
You automate and standardise operation and monitoring using RMM (Ninja) as well as your own scripts and workflows.
In this role, you operate the Windows and Linux server landscapes and are responsible for their lifecycle management, including cloud topics around Azure and Microsoft 365.
Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable IT further education with several years of practical experience
- Solid experience with servers, network technology, and IT security
- Confident handling of current technologies such as Windows Server, Office 365, and Teams
- In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and WLAN
- Strong hands-on mentality as well as independent, structured, and responsible working style
- High commitment, teamwork skills, strong communication abilities, as well as very good German and good English skills
