Interior Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 100,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced Interior Architect / Interior Designer for the conception and realisation of high-quality interior architecture projects in Switzerland and internationally. You independently develop space, material, colour and furnishing concepts and carry these through from the initial design idea to detailed execution planning. The focus is on creatively demanding projects with high requirements for materialisation, detailing and individual interior fittings. The position combines conceptual design with sound technical understanding and professional 3D planning and visualisation.
Responsibilities:
Development of holistic interior architecture and spatial concepts for high-quality projects
Preparation of floor plan, usage, furnishing, colour and material concepts
Development of mood boards, design studies and presentation documents for clients
Creation and further development of detailed 3D spatial and interior fitting models
Elaboration of execution, detail and interior fitting plans
Design and detailing of individual built-in furniture, joinery work and special designs
Selection and sampling of materials, surfaces, furniture, lighting and equipment elements
Coordination of interior architecture with architecture, lighting design, building services and other disciplines
Coordination with joineries, suppliers, manufacturers and contractors
Review of workshop and contractor plans and ensuring design specifications
Support during realisation including sampling, site inspections and detail clarifications
Ensuring consistently high design, execution and material quality
Qualifications:
Completed studies in interior architecture, architecture or interior design at a university of applied sciences/university or equivalent education
Several years of professional experience in interior architecture and planning of high-quality fit-out projects
Very good knowledge of 3D modelling, spatial planning and visualisation
Sound understanding of interior fittings, materialisation, furniture design and constructive details
Confident handling of industry-standard CAD/3D and design software
Experience with high-quality residential, hospitality or comparable interior projects is an advantage
Very good German skills; English skills for international projects are an advantage
