Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 105,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an architect for the development and planning of demanding residential and densification projects in the St. Gallen region. The focus is on project development, design planning and architectural conception from the initial feasibility study to implementation-ready planning. You combine high design standards with constructive understanding, cost-effectiveness and Swiss building law. The position offers a high degree of creative freedom in a professional environment with short decision-making paths.
Responsibilities:
Development and elaboration of demanding residential and densification projects from the initial project idea to implementation-ready planning
Preparation of designs, architectural concepts and variant studies taking into account urban planning, usage, cost-effectiveness and design quality
Execution and elaboration of feasibility studies, potential analyses and project developments for plots and existing properties
Creation and further development of project, building permit and execution planning in the relevant SIA project phases
Ensuring compliance with Swiss building law, SIA standards, building regulations and official requirements
Development of constructive detail solutions as well as coordination of materials, building envelope, floor plans and architectural requirements
Coordination and planning collaboration with project management, specialist planners, clients and authorities
Preparation and support of building permit procedures including the preparation of the required plan and project documentation
Participation in architecture competitions, study commissions and variant procedures as well as the creation of convincing project presentations
Use of CAD and BIM planning methods for structured development, documentation and coordination of projects
Qualifications:
Completed architecture studies at FH, ETH, USI or university
Professional experience in planning and designing demanding residential or building projects
Sound knowledge of Swiss building law as well as relevant SIA standards and planning processes
Very good architectural, constructive and urban planning understanding
Experience in design planning, project development, feasibility studies and building permit planning
Confident handling of industry-standard CAD/BIM planning software
