Interior Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Project Manager: Interior Architecture & Interior Fitting for the overall management of demanding fit-out and transformation projects in existing properties. You combine interior architecture, design and execution planning with professional control of costs, deadlines and quality and accompany the projects until successful completion. As a central interface, you lead interdisciplinary teams from design, architecture and specialist planning and advise the client throughout the entire project process. The project spectrum includes high-quality work, education, commercial, gastronomy, hospitality and financial environments with high design and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for demanding interior architecture and interior fitting projects in existing properties
Management of projects from concept and design through planning and execution to realisation
Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and project organisation
Leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary teams from interior architecture, architecture, building services engineering and other specialist disciplines
Advising the clients as well as preparing and accompanying relevant decision-making processes
Development and quality assurance of space, materialisation, fit-out and design concepts
Coordination of execution, detail, specialist planner and contractor documents
Management of interfaces between design, construction, building services and existing structures
Ensuring technical feasibility taking into account the relevant SIA standards and Swiss building regulations
Accompanying tendering, awarding, sampling and execution through to acceptance and handover
Leadership and professional development of project staff as well as quality assurance within the project team
Further development of planning processes, project standards and interdisciplinary workflows
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Architecture FH or comparable training in architecture or interior architecture
At least 5 years of professional experience in Switzerland with management of complex architecture, interior fitting or interior architecture projects
Sound knowledge in design, execution planning and overall project management
Experience with existing properties and demanding interior fittings
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss planning and building standards
Good user skills in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud, ideally additionally Vectorworks
Very good German skills as well as good English skills
