Project Manager Refrigeration (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist for a versatile role at the interface between project management and service technology in refrigeration technology. You will lead customer projects from technical planning and procurement to commissioning and ensure timely, cost-effective and quality-compliant execution. Additionally, you will regularly work in technical field service and undertake fault analyses, repairs and technical assignments on refrigeration machines, heat pumps, refrigerated cabinets and fan coils. The position thus combines technical project responsibility with practical work on demanding refrigeration, air conditioning and heating systems.
Responsibilities:
Management and execution of refrigeration system projects from technical planning through procurement to commissioning
Responsibility for deadlines, costs, quality and technical implementation within the projects managed
Review of technical documents, specifications and system documentation as well as clarification of project-specific requirements
Technical design and procurement of customer-specific components and refrigeration technology products
Technical and commercial support of the field service in customer enquiries, solution finding and offer preparation
Coordination of suppliers, customers, internal logistics and transports as well as monitoring of agreed delivery dates
Execution of service, repair and diagnostic assignments on refrigeration machines, heat pumps, refrigerated cabinets and fan coils about two days per week
Systematic fault analysis and error diagnosis on refrigeration, hydraulic and electrical components
Execution and support of commissioning, functional checks and adjustments on refrigeration and air conditioning systems
Creation and maintenance of project, service and system documentation as well as technical reports
Technical coordination at the interfaces between project planning, sales, service, procurement and logistics
Qualifications:
Refrigeration system installer EFZ or comparable technical basic training in refrigeration, air conditioning or heat technology
Several years of professional experience in refrigeration or heat technology, ideally in technical service
Initial experience in project execution, AVOR, technical administration or order processing
Sound knowledge of refrigeration circuits, refrigeration machines, heat pumps and refrigeration technology components
Experience in fault diagnosis, repair and commissioning of technical systems
Very good German language skills; French or English skills are an advantage
Driving licence category B for service and customer assignments
