A stable network environment is crucial for smooth IT operations. In this role, you support customers in 2nd and 3rd level support, analyse technical faults, and together with other IT specialists ensure reliable operation of modern network and security infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
Analyse and resolve network and security faults at 2nd and 3rd level
Operation and support of switching, routing, WLAN, firewall, and SD-WAN
Administration and support of FortiGate as well as network environments with Aruba, Juniper, or Cisco
Monitoring and optimisation of existing network environments
Participation in changes, migrations, and technical projects
Support of network engineers and other IT teams
Assistance to customers with technical network issues
Documentation of solutions, configurations, and technical adjustments
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally in platform development
Professional experience in IT or network support
Good knowledge of routing, switching, WLAN, and firewall technologies
Experience with FortiGate, ideally complemented by knowledge of Aruba, Juniper, or Cisco
Analytical, independent, and solution-oriented working style
High willingness to learn and interest in new technologies
Very good German skills as well as good English skills
Team-oriented personality with good communication skills
