As part of a temporary reinforcement, we are looking on behalf of one of our clients, an international group based in Geneva, for a:
HR & Payroll Manager
You will join an international structure and work within a multicultural and demanding environment. You will be responsible for a varied HR scope mainly covering personnel administration, Swiss payroll, social insurances, as well as supporting international employees.
Job Description
In your role, you will be specifically responsible for:
- Ensuring HR administrative management and payroll for a population based in Switzerland
- Preparing and monitoring employment contracts, amendments, letters, attestations and certificates intended for employees
- Collecting, checking and transmitting payroll variable elements and ensuring data reliability
- Monitoring salary certificates and withholding tax, including verifying applicable situations and scales
- Managing affiliations and follow-up of employees with Swiss social insurances and handling the associated administrative procedures
- Managing declarations related to absences and claims and ensuring follow-up with the various concerned organisations
- Tracking working hours, absences, leave and balances of employees
- Participating in updating internal HR procedures, regulations and documents in accordance with Swiss regulations
- Producing and monitoring various HR reports related to workforce
- Supporting international employees in their administrative procedures related to their settlement in Switzerland, notably work and residence permits, in coordination with the relevant contacts
- Coordinating certain matters related to international mobility and the settlement of employees and their families
- Participating in various annual HR campaigns and projects
- Contributing to HR communications intended for employees
- Occasionally providing administrative support to other internal functions.
Profile Sought
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma in Commercial Employment, a Bac+2 qualification or an equivalent training
- Additional training in Human Resources, notably a HR Assistant Certificate, is a real advantage
- You have at least 5 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally gained in an international environment in Switzerland
- You possess a good knowledge of personnel administration and Swiss payroll
- You master the main mechanisms related to Swiss social insurances and withholding tax
- Experience in international mobility, expatriate management or work permits is an important asset
- You are fluent in French and have at least a B2 level in English
- You are comfortable with IT tools and HR information systems
- You are recognised for your rigour, reliability and excellent organisation
- You demonstrate great discretion and are particularly attentive to the confidentiality of the information handled
- Your sense of service, responsiveness and ability to manage priorities allow you to work effectively with a demanding international population.
