An IT service provider is looking for an experienced professional to support and further develop customer infrastructures. You will be responsible for classic and hybrid IT environments and independently implement technical solutions from planning to execution.
You can expect a flexible working environment with short decision-making paths and a lot of personal responsibility. You will work closely with customers and internal teams and receive support for your professional development.
Responsibilities:
Support and further development of on-premises and hybrid customer infrastructures
Operation and optimisation of Windows environments with Active Directory, DNS and server services
Planning and implementation of virtualisation and backup solutions with Proxmox, VMware and Veeam
Management and implementation of infrastructure projects
Technical advice and support for customers on infrastructure issues
Coordination of orders and collaboration with internal specialist departments
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in system engineering, ideally at an IT service provider
Very good knowledge of Windows infrastructures and server administration
Experience with virtualisation solutions such as VMware or Proxmox
Practical knowledge of backup solutions, especially Veeam
Experience in technical customer support and implementation of IT projects
Independent, structured working style and enjoyment in taking responsibility
