Role:

Those who build networks today also bear responsibility for their protection. In this position as a Cyber Security Specialist, you drive demanding projects around cyber security and networking forward. You design robust solutions and implement them cleanly in operations. At the same time, you further develop the technical strategy and are a sought-after contact person for colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities:

• You design new security and network architectures, implement them technically, and document them comprehensibly.

• You accompany changes and ICT projects throughout their entire lifecycle until handover to operations.

• Additionally, you further develop the roadmap for network and cyber security, including binding standards and best practices.

• You drive the offering around managed security services, security assessments, and awareness measures.

• You play a key role in risk analyses, technical reviews, and sensitive escalation cases.

• Furthermore, you act as a sparring partner for sales, presales, and internal teams and support trainees with your know-how.

Qualifications:

• Several years of practical experience as an engineer in the field of network and cyber security distinguish you.

• The basis is a completed education in computer science or ICT, ideally supplemented by a higher vocational qualification or equivalent further training.

• You master switching, firewall technologies, WLAN, and VPN and implement network segmentation securely.

• Furthermore, you are familiar with approaches such as Zero Trust and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) from practice. Experience with a leading SASE platform is welcome.

• Structured documentation, technical standards, and direct exchange with customers are part of your daily routine. You tackle tasks independently and always keep an overview.

• Additionally, you formulate precisely in German and are confident in English technical discussions and documentation.
