A technically demanding position in network engineering offers the opportunity to actively shape modern and highly available infrastructures. The focus is on robust L2/L3 networks, innovative automation solutions, and the continuous optimisation of technical operations.
As an experienced professional, you take responsibility for network projects and contribute your expertise to the further development of existing environments. At the same time, you support operational operations and share your knowledge with internal specialists and customers.
Responsibilities:
Planning and implementation of demanding network architectures on Layer 2 and Layer 3
Further development and operation of LAN and WAN infrastructures
Automating recurring network processes and further developing corresponding tools
Handling faults and technical problems including support in 7x24 on-call duty
Participation in technical network concepts and their implementation in operations
Conveying expertise through training and technical support for various stakeholders
Qualifications:
IT education EFZ, HF, FH or a comparable technical qualification
Several years of practical experience in network engineering
Very good knowledge of modern LAN and WAN technologies
Experience in network automation with Python, Ansible or comparable technologies
High personal responsibility, flexibility as well as structured and solution-oriented working methods
Very good German and English skills as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities
