Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Technician HF Civil Engineering / Civil Engineering for the digital planning, design, and realisation of versatile infrastructure projects. You will work on projects in the areas of road construction, general civil engineering, plant construction, and urban drainage from the initial concept to execution. A central focus is model-based project processing with BIM methodology in 2D and 3D as well as the further development of efficient digital planning standards. In close collaboration with civil engineers, you will take on technical planning tasks and contribute your practical experience to optimising project and BIM processes.
Responsibilities:
Planning and design of demanding civil engineering and infrastructure projects from concept to realisation
Handling projects in the areas of road construction, utility construction, plant construction, and urban drainage
Creation and processing of digital 2D and 3D plans in close cooperation with the responsible engineers
Modelling and coordination of infrastructure projects according to BIM methodology and BIM levels 1-3
Creation of project, tender, execution, and detail plans
Development and maintenance of BIM models as well as ensuring consistent plan and model documentation
Processing of terrain, road, utility, and drainage models
Technical coordination of interfaces between road construction, utilities, drainage, and other disciplines
Participation in quantity surveys, tenders, and technical project documentation
Application and further development of CAD/BIM standards, templates, and digital planning processes
Support of project teams during the execution and realisation phase
Professional support in the supervision and training of apprentices in civil engineering
Qualifications:
Degree as Technician HF Construction Planning Civil Engineering / Civil Engineering or comparable higher technical education
Several years of professional experience in planning, design, or realisation of civil engineering projects advantageous
Good user knowledge of Cadwork and AutoCAD / Civil 3D
Knowledge of Revit as well as BIM-based planning and model coordination advantageous
Expertise in road construction, civil engineering, utility construction, or urban drainage
Knowledge of relevant SIA, VSS, and Swiss civil engineering standards
Good German language skills for technical project processing and documentation
