- Development and design of new plastic components based on defined technical requirements and internal specifications
- Manufacturing- and plastic-compatible design of the developed components including the creation of the required drawings
- Implementation of constructive adjustments and optimisations on existing plastic articles and tools
- Manufacture and subsequent testing of prototypes using in-house 3D prototyping technology
- Development of suitable aids for production, including fixtures and component holders
- Accompanying projects from the initial concept phase to successful transfer into series production
- Professional experience in the design of injection moulding tools and plastic components
- Very good knowledge of CAD and PLM systems
- Creative and committed personality with an independent and responsible working style
- Strong service orientation and enjoyment of teamwork
- Fluent German skills as well as good English skills
Responsibilities
- Design of suitable injection moulding tools as well as preparation of the associated manufacturing documents- Development and design of new plastic components based on defined technical requirements and internal specifications
- Manufacturing- and plastic-compatible design of the developed components including the creation of the required drawings
- Implementation of constructive adjustments and optimisations on existing plastic articles and tools
- Manufacture and subsequent testing of prototypes using in-house 3D prototyping technology
- Development of suitable aids for production, including fixtures and component holders
- Accompanying projects from the initial concept phase to successful transfer into series production
Profile
- Completed basic training as a Design Engineer EFZ, Polymechanic EFZ, Plastics Technologist EFZ or Production Mechanic EFZ with corresponding further education at HF or FH level in mechanical engineering, plastics technology or a comparable technical field- Professional experience in the design of injection moulding tools and plastic components
- Very good knowledge of CAD and PLM systems
- Creative and committed personality with an independent and responsible working style
- Strong service orientation and enjoyment of teamwork
- Fluent German skills as well as good English skills
