Your working environment

At the Office for Economy and Labour, we implement federal laws such as the Unemployment Insurance Act (AVIG), the Employment Services Act (AVG) and Labour Law (ArG). The main tasks include supervision of industry and commerce regarding occupational safety and health protection, advising and mediating job seekers, and paying unemployment compensation to eligible persons.
