Maintenance Mechanic (m/f) 100%

For our client, a renowned traditional company in Switzerland, we are immediately seeking a committed and experienced operations mechanic / industrial mechanic (m/f) 100%

In this key position, you are responsible for ensuring a trouble-free operation of the plant in a demanding 3- to 4-shift system and act as deputy to the Head of Mechanics in the absence of your supervisor (Head of Technology).

Your tasks:

• Maintenance and servicing: Carrying out repair and maintenance work on production plants, mill equipment, as well as on compressed air and steam networks

• Troubleshooting: Quick response and resolution of faults during day and on-call operations

• Optimisation: Increasing plant efficiency through mechanical optimisations

• Project collaboration: Assisting in the planning of mechanic projects and the planning of overhaul and maintenance work

• Plant management: Ensuring and integrating new plants into existing systems

• Purchasing: Procuring technical/mechanical components within budget

Your profile:

• Completed training as a mechanic or metalworker

• Experience as a mechanic with a very good track record
• Know-how in the maintenance of compressed air and steam networks
• Experience in the maintenance of production plants, ideally in shift work
• High coordination skills and open and clear communication
• Very good German language skills
