Role:
Security becomes part of the platform: Automate infrastructure, delivery, and data protection and develop an engineering environment for the next generation.
This position combines DevOps engineering with cyber security and data protection. We are looking for a specialist who automates Kubernetes platforms, technically integrates security controls, and secures sensitive data throughout its entire lifecycle.
Work location: Bern or Zurich
Responsibilities:
Design and further development of a modern DevSecOps platform
Operation and optimisation of containerised workloads with Kubernetes
Development of automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
Integration of security checks and quality gates into CI/CD processes
Automation of infrastructure and platform components
Establishment of standardised deployment and configuration management processes
Implementation of infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code concepts
Further development of the Linux platform as well as security-relevant Windows components
Technical support of EDR solutions and endpoint security processes
Implementation of data classification, data tagging, and labelling concepts
Development of technical mechanisms for data rights management and controlled data access
Automated enforcement of security and compliance requirements
Evaluation of new technologies for container security, platform automation, and data protection
Co-design of architecture standards and technical security guidelines
Continuous improvement of development and operational processes
Qualifications:
Education in computer science, degree, or comparable practical experience
Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms
Good Linux knowledge
Experience with Windows EDR, endpoint security, or comparable technologies
Experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps, or other modern DevOps platforms
Experience with CI/CD and automated delivery processes
Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, or comparable automation tools
Understanding of DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, and security automation
Experience with data tagging, data labelling, or data rights management is an advantage
Interest in modern cloud-native architectures
High security and quality awareness
Enjoyment of technical innovations and continuous optimisation
