Finance and Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)
Role:
As an employee at our ROCKEN partner, you will take on diverse tasks in finance and work directly with the CFO. In addition to ongoing accounting and assisting with financial statements, you will be responsible for group-wide processes related to creditors, general ledger, and assets. For your assigned locations, you will manage the financial processes and be responsible for the budgets. You will also shape digitalisation and automation and support the integration of new locations and companies.
Responsibilities:
You will manage ongoing financial accounting including debtors, creditors, payment transactions, and dunning, and reconcile bank accounts and cash balances.
You will participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and ensure quality within your area of responsibility.
You will take professional responsibility for the group-wide procure-to-pay process involving creditors, general ledger, and assets. You will define, document, and standardise procedures, be responsible for closing tasks in your core area, and further develop controlling and the internal control system.
As the primary contact person for your assigned locations, you will manage local financial processes and be responsible for the budget across all cost centres. You will analyse variances together with the site management.
You will competently and service-orientedly assist customers, suppliers, and employees with financial questions.
You will optimise internal processes and systems, drive digitalisation and automation forward, and support the integration of new locations and companies into the group’s financial workflows.
Qualifications:
You have further training in finance and accounting as well as at least three years of professional experience in this field, ideally in the automotive trade or in an SME.
Your current IT skills include especially MS Office and Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or digital invoice workflows is an advantage.
