Role:
In this role, you are responsible for the secure, stable, and efficient operation of IT systems and infrastructure. You take care of the maintenance, servicing, and further development of the existing system landscape, ensuring its availability, performance, and security. You analyse disruptions and system requirements, resolve problems sustainably, and optimise processes and technical workflows. Additionally, you plan and implement infrastructure projects and work closely with various stakeholders to implement future-proof solutions. You bring your several years of experience as a professional to define standards and establish best practices in IT system operations.
Responsibilities:
- You ensure stable, secure, and group-compliant operation of system and infrastructure platforms.
- In this role, you consistently implement group guidelines, standards, and architectural principles in the system environment and further develop them.
- You handle 1st and 2nd level support requests, analyse disruptions, and ensure their resolution or escalation.
- In this role, you work in a structured and standardised manner to ensure high quality in IT system operations.
- You carefully document systems, changes, and support cases as a basis for sustainable performance in the role.
Qualifications:
- Completed training or equivalent qualification in computer science or system engineering
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role in the infrastructure environment
- Solid knowledge of Windows server and client systems
- Basic knowledge of Linux is an advantage
- Strong ability for clear communication, independent working style, and analytical thinking
- Customer-oriented, confident personality with fluent German skills and ideally good English proficiency
