About the job
The Sports Service (SPO) is notably responsible for the management and maintenance of sports centres, stadiums, swimming pools, and municipal ice rinks. It provides numerous facilities and installations to the population of Geneva and encourages the practice of "Sport for all" by organising schools for young people and activities for adults and seniors. It also participates in the organisation of events and supports sport, particularly junior movements, through the granting of subsidies. To complete its teams, the service is looking for two

Your mission and responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure safety in the pools and changing rooms.
- Provide a quality welcome.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Carry out any other tasks related to the activity.
Your profile
- Hold a valid Pro Pool lifeguard certificate and BLS-AED.
- Possess a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in a manual or technical profession, an advantage.
- Experience as a pool attendant is desirable.
- Work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Be comfortable in contact with the public.
- Understand the needs and expectations of users.
- Work independently and responsibly while showing availability and team spirit.
- Maintain the ability to perform the role by following continuous training as instructed by the hierarchy and regularly validate lifeguard skills by passing tests as per service directive.
- Appointment subject to successful completion of the Pro Pool lifeguard training issued by the Swiss Lifesaving Society.
