Role:
In this role, the person was responsible for managing accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as the general ledger, thus playing a central role in the financial accounting team. In addition to posting and reconciling banks and cash, the role included independently preparing monthly financial statements and assisting with the annual financial statements. In addition to reconciling payroll accounting, they acted as the first point of contact for the branches in all matters of financial accounting and took on deputy tasks for the head of financial accounting when required.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger
- Posting and reconciling banks and cash
- Independent preparation of monthly financial statements and assistance with the annual financial statements
- Reconciliation of payroll accounting
- First point of contact for our branches in the area of financial accounting
- Assuming deputy tasks for the head of financial accounting
- General tasks in financial accounting
Qualifications:
- Completed commercial basic training
- Professional certificate in finance and accounting
- At least 4 years of practical professional experience in a comparable company and position
- Confidence in closing accounts
- Fluent German skills, good French skills (min. B2); additional language skills are an advantage
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
