Metal locksmith-maintenance technician

Job Description

As part of strengthening our teams, we are looking for an experienced Metal Locksmith / Maintenance Technician (M/F) to work on locksmithing, metalwork, and preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

You will participate in the manufacture, installation, repair, and maintenance of metal equipment for a varied clientele.

Your tasks

• Carry out locksmithing and metalwork tasks in the workshop and on site.
• Manufacture, assemble, and install metal structures (railings, doors, grilles, metal frameworks, etc.).
• Perform welding, cutting, drilling, and fitting operations.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and installations.
• Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out repairs and replacement of defective parts.
• Ensure compliance with current quality and safety standards.
• Write intervention reports and monitor completed work.

Profile sought

• Training in locksmithing, metalwork, industrial maintenance or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a similar position.
• Good mastery of metal fabrication and welding techniques.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electromechanical or industrial maintenance appreciated.
• Ability to read plans and technical diagrams.
• Autonomy, versatility and organisational skills.
• Driving licence B essential.
