Supra Group is a parent company located in Chavannes de Bogis in Switzerland (canton of Vaud). It owns 3 subsidiaries (1 in Conroe, USA, 1 in Doubs, France, and 1 in Haute Savoie, France), all specialised in the manufacture of mechanical parts for the automotive sector. The Group is looking for an automation engineer to strengthen its internal expertise.

Position to be filled: automation engineer

Development in a demanding industrial environment.

The main tasks will notably include:

- Designing, creating, testing and commissioning hardware and software solutions

- Maintaining, renovating, improving and enhancing existing hardware and software solutions according to evolving needs and technologies.

Desired skills: non-exhaustive list:

Siemens S7-300, S7-1500 PLCs

Staubli Robot (SRS software)

Siemens Simatic Manager, TIA Portal/Safety, WinCC, WinCC Unified Starter, Star Drive (TIA)5.1.7 software

Solidworks software

Required aptitudes:

Discipline, method, organisation and rigour

Pedagogy

Adaptability, scalability

Regular travel will be required to the Group's various subsidiaries.

This position requires a genuine appetite for fieldwork and a strong commitment both with support services (methods, maintenance, etc.) and production teams.

Beginners accepted, provided they have solid technical foundations and demonstrate strong motivation, a willingness to learn and develop their skills in industrial automation.

Desired education level: bachelor or master degree in business administration (HEC)
