Construction Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Construction Manager / Project Manager for Building Construction for demanding construction, conversion and renovation projects within a technically oriented industrial and real estate portfolio. You will be responsible for the local site management and manage projects in terms of schedules, costs, quality and occupational safety. A special focus is on cost estimation according to NPK, contractor coordination as well as acceptance and warranty management. The project environment includes operational and specialised properties with increased requirements for availability, safety and technical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the local site management of new construction, conversion, renovation and maintenance projects
Monitoring construction execution with regard to plans, contracts, quality, schedules and safety requirements
Creation and ongoing management of construction programmes and schedules
Responsibility for cost control, invoice verification, forecasts and construction accounting
Preparation of specifications and cost estimates according to NPK
Conducting tenders, bid comparisons, award negotiations and award proposals
Leadership and coordination of contractors, trades, specialist planners and suppliers
Coordination of construction work with operations, building services, authorities and other project participants
Monitoring and documentation of extra work, claims and changes in scope
Conducting construction meetings, site inspections and quality checks
Organisation of acceptances, handovers and defect rectifications as well as management of warranty matters
Ensuring compliance with SIA 118, Swiss construction law, occupational safety regulations and project-specific safety requirements
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training in construction, for example bricklayer EFZ or draughtsperson EFZ specialising in architecture
Further training as Certified Construction Manager Building Construction HFP completed or near completion
Several years of professional experience in local site management and site organisation of Swiss building construction projects
Sound knowledge of SIA 118, NPK, contracts as well as Swiss construction and procurement practices
Confident handling of Messerli or Delta Project as well as MS Project
Experience in cost, schedule, claims and contractor management
Fluent German skills and willingness for occasional on-call duties
