We are looking for an Operations Manager for a company specialising in water-related solutions, including swimming pools, basins, technical installations, water treatment, and maintenance services. The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing, organising, and developing the company’s commercial and operational activities.
They ensure coordination between Management, sales teams, technical teams, and clients. They oversee the achievement of commercial objectives, business profitability, and the quality of service provided.
As a true interface between different departments, they guarantee the smooth flow of information and ensure that commercial commitments are consistent with the company’s technical and operational capabilities.
Main Responsibilities
Sales Department Management
- Organise and supervise the daily activities of the sales department.
- Define commercial priorities in collaboration with Management.
- Monitor the client portfolio, offers, quotes, orders, and ongoing projects.
- Ensure the tracking of turnover, margin, and profitability targets.
- Identify development opportunities and contribute to business growth.
- Implement actions to improve commercial performance.
Team Management and Coordination
- Lead, support, and unite the sales department staff.
- Organise and allocate activities according to priorities.
- Set individual and collective objectives and monitor their progress.
- Lead meetings and coordination points.
- Support the development of employees’ skills.
- Foster effective collaboration between sales, technical, and administrative teams.
Business Development
- Develop and retain existing clients.
- Identify new clients and commercial opportunities.
- Participate in client meetings and key negotiations.
- Oversee complex commercial offers.
- Understand client needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Develop and maintain a network of partners and prescribers.
Technical and Operational Coordination
- Ensure the transmission of information between sales and technical teams.
- Verify the feasibility of commercial commitments.
- Participate in defining technical solutions with relevant specialists.
- Ensure the quality and completeness of files before their transfer to operations.
- Anticipate technical, financial, or organisational difficulties.
- Participate in monitoring major projects until completion.
Financial Management
- Ensure the profitability of offers and projects.
- Participate in the preparation of budgets and commercial forecasts.
- Control costs and margins.
- Monitor variances between forecasts and results.
- Participate in decisions regarding prices, discounts, and commercial conditions.
- Identify financial risks and inform Management.
Client Relations
- Ensure quality follow-up of clients and projects.
- Be a key contact for strategic clients.
- Guarantee compliance with commitments made.
- Handle and follow up on any complaints.
- Develop client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify additional needs and development opportunities.
Reporting
- Prepare dashboards and activity reports.
- Present results, forecasts, and key indicators to Management.
- Monitor the order book and project portfolio.
- Identify risks and opportunities.
- Propose corrective and improvement actions.

Profile Sought:
We are looking for a person with proven experience in commercial management and/or operations, capable of assuming responsibilities that are strategic, commercial, and operational.
The candidate must be able to make decisions, unite a team, and develop the business while maintaining a strong client and results orientation.
Education
- Higher education in commerce, management, business administration, technical fields, engineering, or equivalent.
- Additional training in management or commercial management is an advantage.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial, management, or operations role.
- Proven experience in team leadership.
- Experience in managing complex projects or business.
- Experience in a technical, industrial, construction, or technical installations environment.
- Experience in water, technical installations, maintenance, or related services is an advantage.
