Head of Water Sector (100%)

A dynamic central town in full development, Payerne is looking for a Head of Water Sector, responsible for ensuring the proper operation and quality of its drinking water distribution network, as well as managing and coordinating the sector team.

Main missions:

• Ensure the management, operation and monitoring of the drinking water network as well as the supply, storage and distribution facilities;
• Organise, plan and control the sector's activities and ensure their quality;
• Manage unforeseen situations, including leaks and breakdowns, and implement necessary measures to ensure continuous and quality distribution;
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at work and assume the responsibilities of safety officer for the sector;
• Carry out administrative tasks related to sector management, including billing, monitoring hours, holidays and absences, stock management, annual replacement of meters and maintenance of various equipment;
• 24/7 water on-call service (8 – 15 weeks per year).

Your profile:

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as sanitary/heating installer, locksmith;
• Federal diploma as a plumber. Federal diploma as a network fitter (desired);
• Safety officer training by domain (desired);
• Ability to unite teams, lead change and work cross-functionally.
