Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified specialist for building services planning, technical project design and BIM-supported specialist planning in an interdisciplinary Swiss engineering and planning environment. You will work on a variety of small and large projects in the field of technical building equipment and support the overall project management in planning, coordination and realisation of demanding construction projects. The focus is on CAD and 3D modelling with Trimble NOVA, the creation of technical calculations and tenders, as well as the coordination of HVACSE trades. The position combines independent building services planning with digital project processing and offers development opportunities in specialist coordination and site management.
Responsibilities:
Independent processing and project design of building services systems for small and large projects across the relevant SIA planning phases
Support of overall project management in planning coordination, schedule monitoring, technical clarifications and project organisation
Creation and processing of project, execution and detail plans for building services systems with Trimble NOVA
Development and maintenance of digital 3D specialist models within BIM projects including model coordination and plan derivation
Creation of technical principle diagrams, system diagrams and installation plans taking into account project-specific requirements
Execution and documentation of building services calculations such as performance, dimensioning and pipe network calculations according to the respective discipline
Preparation of tender and submission documents including specifications, technical specifications and quantity determinations
Coordination of technical interfaces between heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, sanitary and electrical (HVACSE) in collaboration with the responsible specialist planners
Participation in internal and external project and specialist coordination meetings including technical agreements and documentation of planning results
Review and quality assurance of CAD plans, BIM models and technical calculations regarding completeness, compliance with standards and feasibility
Support in cross-trade specialist coordination including collision checks, interface clarifications and optimisation of installation routes
Gradual assumption of coordination and site management tasks in the HVACSE area including site inspections, execution clarifications and technical approvals
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as a building services planner EFZ, preferably in an HVACSE specialisation
Professional experience in planning and project design of building services systems as well as in the creation of project, execution and detail plans
Good to very good user knowledge of Trimble NOVA for 2D CAD planning and 3D modelling
Knowledge of BIM methodology, especially in model-based specialist planning and interdisciplinary model coordination, is an advantage
Specialist knowledge in building services calculations, system diagrams, tenders and technical installation details
Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards and relevant building services guidelines as well as experience in HVACSE specialist coordination is an advantage
Good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation, project meetings and coordination with clients and specialist planners
