International HR Director – Strategy & Development

Our client is an international group established in Switzerland, active in numerous markets worldwide. With over a century of history, it operates in a multicultural and constantly evolving environment.

To strengthen its HR organisation, our client is looking for a Global HR Director. You will be responsible for three major areas: global HR Business Partnering, HR operations at the Swiss headquarters, and compensation & benefits.

Your tasks with your new employer

• Advise leaders of global functions on their strategic HR challenges.

• Support managers on organisation, engagement, and retention issues.

• Oversee recruitment for strategic positions and global functions.

• Coordinate international mobility and key employee lifecycle processes.

• Manage resources dedicated to HR operations at the headquarters.

• Drive processes related to talent, succession, performance, and organisational development.

• Ensure HR practices comply with Swiss legislation.

• Define and develop the overall compensation and benefits strategy.

• Supervise grading, benchmarking, salary reviews, and variable remuneration processes.

• Collaborate with international HR teams as well as other departments and external partners.

You offer your new employer

• Ideally 10 years of HR experience in an international and matrix environment.

• Significant experience in HR Business Partnering with senior executives.

• Proven experience in team management.

• Excellent knowledge of Swiss labour law, payroll, and social security.

• Strong expertise in compensation & benefits.

• Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.

• A higher education degree in HR, Business Administration, or a similar field, as well as excellent French and English skills.
