DevOps Platform Engineer Kubernetes (m/f/d)
Our client is an established technology company that develops and realises sophisticated technical systems and components for international applications. The company combines development, manufacturing, and technical services and supports its solutions through various phases.

Role:
You bring experience in DevOps engineering and want to actively drive the automation of modern IT platforms? In this role, you will work on Kubernetes and container solutions, develop standardised deployment processes, and optimise collaboration between development and infrastructure.
In doing so, you combine modern cloud-native technologies with proven infrastructure concepts and support the continuous development of technical solutions and processes.
Responsibilities:
Further development of container-based platforms and Kubernetes environments
Building and optimising CI/CD processes with GitLab, Azure DevOps, or comparable solutions
Implementation of automations for deployments, platform operations, and development processes
Configuration and management of Linux systems as well as the use of supplementary virtualisation solutions
Development and implementation of technical guidelines, standards, and architectural concepts
Evaluation of new technologies to improve platform operations, automation, and deployment
Qualifications:
Education or degree in computer science or equivalent practical professional experience
Good knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and Linux
Practical experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools
Experience with Ansible or comparable solutions for automation and configuration management
Knowledge of VMware, Nutanix, or Proxmox is a plus
Analytical, independent, and solution-oriented working style; good German skills required, English at B2 level advantageous
